A quick look at some of the wonderful fun had at Living History Farms for their Family Christmas event on December 2, 2023. This event is unique and fun, and it would be great for the demand to grow so they could do it more than just one day for three hours.

In addition to the fun family activities at Holiday Hullabaloo, they also have several vendors selling items. One such vendor is Jeff E Pop from Altoona. They have many flavors of popcorn, as well as roasted nuts. I brought in a bad of their “Jalapeno Popper” popcorn to share with my coworkers.

But since I am an only child, I never learned to “share” so I ate it all.

Black Cat Ice Cream video

We visited Black Cat Ice Cream for the first time last week. Although I was not brave enough to try their “turkey and stuffing” ice cream, I did quite enjoy the Cursed Apple.

Although this was my first visit there for ice cream, I did find the location quite familiar. I had some great cornbread there, years ago, when it was Woody’s Smoke Shack.

Their menu of flavors was quite interesting. We had three different flavors, and enjoyed them all.
